As we commence a new Rotary year, it is of great importance that we come together in unity as a club and a family to create new opportunities and also, to learn more to do more. After a year of serving to change lives, Rotary International President – Jennifer Jones has beckon us to “imagine a world that deserves our best, where we get up each day knowing that we can make a difference.”
 
Ralph Waldo Emerson once said “The purpose of life is not to be happy only. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
I deem this a privilege to be the 6th President of the Rotaract club of Adenta central. Together with my board and also with the support of our club members we will work assiduously to make a difference in this Rotary year just as our predecessors have exhibited over the years.
 
The rotary theme for this year rightfully says, “Imagine Rotary”
Imagine Adenta Central moved to a higher pedestal, full of energy, fun and insightful meetings, great networking and above all productive members. Our club has executed impactful and sustainable projects over the years. Let’s once again imagine St. Andrews Basic school being able to get access to an IT lab because of Rotaract Club of Adenta Central. Imagine Amrahia health Centre being able to have a good health facility.
Imagine the club joining hands with other partners in Supporting the Environment.
 
My foremost appreciation goes to the greatest past presidents of this noble club, who paved the way for us in making the club the greatest of all time. I hope and pray the mantle given to me and my board would propel us maintain and keep the good name of the club.
 
I would also like to appreciate Rotary clubs for their endless support. Together let’s imagine fearlessly as we continue to serve humanity.
