Basic School in Adenta Receives 15 Computers and ICT Lab Refurbishment from Rotaract Club of Adenta

Sowa Din Memorial ‘1’ JHS is a basic school located in Ashaley Botwe in the Adenta Municipal and has been in existence for over 70 years with a current student body of about 700.

One of the major challenges of the school was the unavailability of sufficient computers and a conducive learning facility to ensure effective ICT education.

It took the intervention of two Rotary International to help solve the problem and ensure pupils in the school had equal access to quality ICT education.


"I would like to encourage the stakeholders of the school to make very good use of the computers. Students are advised that in the use of the computers, they should exercise all necessary precautionary measures so as to keep the computers in good shape for other future beneficiaries”, he said.
